Nissan Share: The Four Elements of Triangle Screw Thread!
Around us, you can find various types of screws, and the main function of screws is to tighten. Among various types of screws, there is a more widely used one, which is the triangular screw. During the processing and selection process, attention should be paid to the quality of its thread, and there are four elements to measure its thread quality, namely thread height, thread angle, thread width, and thread pitch. 1. Thread height The thread height refers to the sum of the top height and thickness of the thread. It is a relatively important element in screws. The control of thread height plays a crucial role in the durability and stability of screws. If the height is difficult to control, it cannot provide sufficient load-bearing capacity for the threads and cannot meet the connection requirements normally. 2. Thread angle Thread angle refers to the angle between two relatively flat points on a thread. In the production of triangular screws, thread angle is a very important element, which directly affects the engagement between threads. If the angle is too large, it will cause the thread to rise, which does not meet the design requirements and will also reduce the load-bearing capacity. If the angle is too small, it will also affect the stability of the thread, which is not conducive to withstanding reverse forces. 3. Thread width Thread width refers to the width from the top of the thread to the bottom of the thread. If the thread is too narrow, the control and tolerance of the thread's strength and torque will affect the quality of production, which is not conducive to fully exerting the function of the screw. 4. Pitch Pitch refers to the distance between two adjacent threads on a thread. If the pitch is too small, it will affect the engagement between the threads and be detrimental to the connection of the screws. On the contrary, if the pitch is too large, control during the manufacturing process will become more difficult. The threaded structure of triangular screws also has the characteristics of rust prevention and corrosion resistance. Due to the strict heat treatment and rust prevention treatment on the inner and outer surfaces of the thread, it can better resist the erosion of air and water, prevent the invasion of corrosive substances, and keep the machine in a healthier state. Moreover, the thread structure of the screw is very regular, which can avoid thread sliding and failure. Due to the highly symmetrical height and depth of the threads, it can better ensure the continuity and integrity of the components, making the connections between the components more sturdy and stable. The above four elements are the parts that need special attention when processing and selecting triangular screws. If these four elements are well controlled, it will make the durability and load-bearing capacity of the screws more outstanding.
